North Sydney Olympic Pool
North Sydney Olympic Pool – Swim Amongst the Giants
Hey Sydney Siders! What an awesome Friday afternoon!
Nestled right under the harbour bridge lies an aquatic centre that is sure to make you feel small again. Located in North Sydney just a few minutes walk from Milsons Point train station and bordering the famous Luna Park, North Sydney Pool has sweeping views of the harbour with the Sydney CBD in the background.
The centre boasts an outdoor 50m Olympic sized swimming pool and an indoor 25m pool for those who want to be sheltered from the elements. The views of the bridge and the harbour are both visible in each pool, perfect motivation to swim laps or relax and enjoy the scenery. For an additional cost you can access spa/sauna facilities, showers and the gym.
I was able to enjoy the 50m pool, the main attraction. The facility was clean and well appointed with lap signs for lap speed. The water used in the pool seemed to be collected from the harbour itself and thus a strong taste of salt is apparent, in addition to chlorine, making it a slightly different experience to your usual aquatic centre in Sydney, nevertheless it was still an enjoyable experience.
Stay tuned Sydney Siders! :)
Emmanuel

BONDI
HELLO SYDNEY SIDERS!
If you are coming to Sydney you can't miss a visit to Bondi Beach! Only about 30 minutes by public transport from the city centre.
Bondi Beach is one of Australia's most famous beaches and is well-known worldwide.
Each year tens of thousands of people, from backpackers to billionaires, take to the golden sands of this wide, one-kilometre long beach to walk, jog, or just soak up the sun. Being only 10 kilometres from the city centre, Bondi Beach is one of Sydney's busiest beaches.
To discover more stunning beaches close by, you can take the trail to Tamarama, Bronte and Coogee via the scenic coastal walk from Bondi Beach. From the cliffs on the Bondi to Coogee Walk you can see the entire expanse of Bondi Beach.
Busy Buzzing BONDI
Each spring, the Bondi to Tamarama Beach section of the walk is transformed by the Sculpture by the Sea exhibition with works by local artists.
